The genocide I chose was the Armenian Genocide. This genocide was between the Armenians and the Turks. This was the get-go genocide of the 20th century. I believe this genocide occurred because the Armenians were Christian and the Turks estimable Islam, so they discriminated against Non-Islams. Before the genocide occurred the Armenians had to pay discriminatory taxes and were denied on any participation in the government.
